Our owner and founder began an app based drinks delivery company at age 18. This business focused on selling home grown drinks brands via a late night drinks delivery concept. This very ethos of championing local and micro brands has resonated within The Spirited right up to this present day.
Our founder, Elliot Harris decided to rebrand the business through the purchase of Horse trailer which was then painted and converted into our very first horse trailer bar! Our mobile bar was then taken to a variety of park shows, Horse shows, Bike and car events and festivals all over the country. It was certainly a year to remember.
After a lengthy and costly billboard marketing campaign, The Spirited Horse trailer bar found its permanent home in the London Designer Outlet next to Wembley stadium. This allowed us to showcase our brand to the retail market whilst also covering large stadium event days such as England national team games, Ed Sheeran concert’s and world championship boxing events! A year full of learning and growth!
After a summer that very much stuck in the brands memory as one of prosperous growth and steep learning, we embarked on our first Christmas market pop up at the prestigious “Christmas by the river” on London bridge. This allowed us to branch ourselves into the world of cocktails which gave the brand a new string to its bow, by using artisan products to produce delicious concoctions, It certainly allowed us to make a name for ourselves in the heart of the capital!
After another event packed year, our owner and founder, Elliot Harris secured a fantastic opportunity to open our very own and first rooftop location in the heart of Camden town. Camden has been the brands main home since 2017 through hosting a number of pop ups in the world famous Camden market so for this to be our first bricks and mortar location was very fitting. Since this moment, The Spirited has gone from strength to strength thanks to our amazing team which has been head up by our local magician; senore Manolo Tola.
Once the dreaded VID restrictions had been lifted in the summer, it was our time to shine and make our official mark on Camden Town. We fast gained momentum as one of the most exciting up and coming cocktail brands in London with features in the Evening Standard and Time Out magazine.
2021 shall henceforth be named the year of “Mad tings” with our exciting movie themed cocktail menu gaining recognition through hospitality venue’s all over London. By earning a good reputation within the industry, this allowed us to brand ourselves with quality and enforce our ethos of championing micro brands to create delicious menu’s.
This year will go down in our history for a variety of reasons. Whether it be our Wizard, Manolo Tola placing in the Cachaca series whilst being named next to some of the best bars and venues in the world or securing our dream expansion to the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados?! One thing is for sure it Is a year that we certainly won’t forget and it is thanks to each and every one of you for helping that has allowed us to make this dream come true!
